Twit AI Privacy Policy

Twit AI ("Twit AI", "we", "us", or "our") provides an AI-powered web application and browser extension that helps users generate suggested replies to posts on X/Twitter.

This Privacy Policy explains what information Twit AI collects, how information is processed, and how users' information is handled.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

When you sign in to Twit AI, including through Google authentication, we may receive:

• Email address
• Google account/profile information provided during authentication

• Account and authentication status

This information is used to authenticate your account and manage access to Twit AI.

1.2 Submitted Tweet/Post Content

When you submit a tweet or post to Twit AI to generate replies, the submitted content is processed to provide the requested AI generation.

Submitted tweet/post content may be stored locally in your browser so that it can be displayed or used by the Twit AI application.

The locally stored information remains on your device/browser unless you clear the relevant browser storage or remove the application or extension.

When you request AI-generated replies, the submitted text must be transmitted through the Twit AI service and/or the configured AI API provider to generate the requested response. Processing the text for generation does not mean that Twit AI maintains a server-side copy of the submitted tweet.

1.3 Generated Replies

Generated replies may be displayed and stored locally in your browser as part of the application's functionality.

Twit AI does not intentionally maintain a server-side database of your generated replies unless explicitly stated in a future version of the service.

1.4 Usage and Account Information

Twit AI may process information necessary to operate the service, including:

• Account identifier
• Email address
• Number of tweet submissions/generations
• Free-tier usage
• Subscription status
• Subscription duration
• Payment verification status
• Transaction hash when provided
• Basic service and error information

This information is used to manage accounts, subscriptions, usage limits, security, and service functionality.

2. Local Browser Storage

Twit AI is designed to keep submitted tweet/post content and related application data locally in the user's browser where applicable.

Depending on the version of the web application or browser extension, browser storage may contain:

• Submitted tweet/post text
• Generated replies
• User preferences
• Reply-generation settings
• Extension configuration
• Other information required for the application to function

Because this information is stored locally, clearing your browser's site data, extension data, or local storage may remove it.

3. AI Processing

When you request reply generation, the submitted text is transmitted to the AI processing service used by Twit AI.

The AI service processes the submitted text to generate the requested replies.

Twit AI does not intentionally send the following information as part of normal tweet-reply generation:

• Passwords
• Cryptocurrency private keys
• Seed phrases
• Banking credentials
• Authentication codes

The retention and processing practices of the third-party AI provider are governed by that provider's applicable terms and privacy policies.

4. Browser Extension

The Twit AI browser extension allows users to generate reply suggestions while browsing X/Twitter.

The extension may:

• Read tweet/post text that the user selects or submits
• Display the Twit AI interface
• Send submitted text for AI processing
• Display generated reply suggestions
• Allow users to copy generated replies
• Store relevant information locally in browser extension storage

The extension does not automatically publish replies to X/Twitter.

The extension is designed to process only the information required for its functionality.

Twit AI does not intentionally collect or store unrelated browsing history.

5. Authentication

Twit AI may use Google/Firebase authentication.

Authentication providers may provide information such as your name, email address, profile information, and unique account identifier.

Twit AI does not receive your Google password through the authentication process.

Authentication/account information may be stored by the authentication and database services used to operate Twit AI.

6. Subscription and Payment Information

Twit AI may provide paid subscription plans.

Depending on the payment method, Twit AI may process:

• Selected subscription plan
• Payment status
• Transaction hash
• Blockchain wallet address associated with a submitted transaction
• Subscription period
• Account identifier
• Payment verification information

Twit AI does not request or store cryptocurrency seed phrases or private keys.

7. Information We Do Not Store on Our Server

To make our data handling clear:

Submitted tweet content and generated replies may be stored locally in your browser for application functionality.

Account, authentication, subscription, usage-limit, and payment-related information may be processed separately where required to operate the service.

8. Information Sharing

Twit AI may use third-party service providers necessary to operate the service, including providers for:

• Authentication
• AI processing
• Hosting
• Database/account management
• Payment verification
• Security and infrastructure

Tweet/post content is transmitted to the AI processing service when you request reply generation.

We do not sell your personal information.

9. Cookies and Browser Storage

Twit AI may use cookies, local storage, session storage, and browser extension storage for:

• Authentication
• User preferences
• Tweet/post history stored locally
• Generated replies stored locally
• Extension settings
• Session management
• Application functionality

You can generally remove locally stored information through your browser settings.

10. Data Security

We use reasonable security measures to protect information used to operate Twit AI.

However, no internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.

Users should never submit passwords, cryptocurrency private keys, seed phrases, banking credentials, or other sensitive secrets into tweet-generation prompts.

11. X/Twitter

Twit AI may process content displayed on X/Twitter when the user chooses to use the Twit AI web application or extension.

Twit AI is not affiliated with or endorsed by X Corp. unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Users are responsible for complying with X/Twitter's applicable terms and policies.

12. Children's Privacy

Twit AI is not intended for children who are below the minimum age required to independently use the service under applicable law.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.

13. Data Retention

Therefore, Twit AI does not maintain a server-side history of submitted tweets as part of its normal operation.

Account, subscription, usage, authentication, and payment-related information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, maintain subscriptions, prevent abuse, maintain security, and comply with applicable legal requirements.

14. Your Choices

You may:

• Stop using Twit AI at any time
• Clear Twit AI's browser storage
• Remove the Twit AI browser extension
• Request deletion of account-related information
• Contact us regarding privacy or data questions

Clearing browser storage may permanently remove locally stored tweet history, generated replies, or preferences.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

The Last Updated date will be changed when material updates are made.
